Plus, we’re getting ready for the NHL playoffs to start on Monday, April 17.

What do we think, Boston — could the B’s take home the trophy this year?

On the heels of a record-breaking regular season, the Bruins are back on the ice tonight. The Stanley Cup playoffs open at TD Garden tonight, April 17, against the Florida Panthers.

Before we get ready for even more hockey hoopla, here’s an overview of just how legendary the B’s have been:

  • The team ended the season with a 65-12-5 record, breaking two NHL records for the most wins + most points in a regular season.
  • The Bruins’ goal differential is 62 goals better than the second-best team, the Dallas Stars.
  • Goaltenders Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman earned the league’s best team save percentage, with the help of Keith Kinkaid.
  • Winger David Pastrƈåk notched 61 goals this season, earning second place in the goal-scoring race.

Here’s hoping we keep the hot streak going.
