It’s about time more folks jumped on the Chris Evans appreciation train. Here are five fast facts to know about People’s 2022 Sexiest Man Alive.

  1. The actor grew up in Sudbury, which is ~22 miles outside of Boston. His dad was a dentist + his mom was involved in a local youth theater.
  2. Over his 20+ year acting career, he has played numerous roles, including a few superheroes. First he played the Human Torch in the “Fantastic Four,” then took on the role of Marvel’s Steve Rogers (aka Captain America) in “The Avengers” + voiced Buzz in the recent Pixar movie “Lightyear.”
  3. He likes to show off his tap dancing skills, like during this interview.
  4. His uncle Mike Capuano is a former Mayor of Somerville and US Representative who now teaches at Boston University.
