Before the local foliage shifts to brilliant shades of vermilion and gold, a new music festival in Boston is visualizing ways to go green. Start Where We Are Earth Music Festival comes to the Boston Common this Sunday, Sept. 10, to raise money for environmental organizations fighting climate change.

The fest kicks off at the Parkman Bandstand at 11a.m., featuring music from acts like:

  • Dakota Cohen
  • The Nobodies
  • Nicolás Emden
  • Sofia Villarreal
  • Guy Gottesfeld
  • Kühlname
  • Modal Soul
  • Ella’s Spirits
  • Late for Breakfast
  • Vesuvius
  • Rakel
  • Picnic
  • Trinity Mei

In between sets, attendees can enjoy treats from local ice cream vendor FoMu and Vermont’s Samosa Man, or enjoy guided Earth meditations + conversations about protecting the environment.
The all-day event is open to all and donations for a more eco-friendly future are encouraged. RSVP on Eventbrite, and prep for the weekend with the festival’s official playlist.
