The Day of the Dead (or Día de los Muertos in Spanish) is just around the corner.

Mark your calendar for three upcoming celebrations of the Mexican holiday.

  • Halloween Party | Sat., Oct. 29 | Time Out Market | 9 p.m.-12 a.m. | Free | Have your costumes and makeup ready for the Fenway food hall’s event with Tarot card readings, drink specials, and some surprises along the way.
  • Day of the Dead Celebration & Parade | Sun., Oct. 30 | Veronica Robles Cultural Center | 2-7 p.m. | Free | East Boston residents + local community members are invited to help create visual elements that reaffirm Latin immigrant culture.
  • Día De Los Muertos | Wed., Nov. 2 | Bow Market | 4-9 p.m. | Free | The Union Square marketplace will host a traditional altar (or “ofrenda”), face painting, live music, and cultural vendors.
