What do you, pickleball, and Rob Gronkowski have in common? An exciting opportunity to support two great causes while having a ball.
Enter: Pickleball for a Purpose, a fundraising challenge to raise money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, and Gronk Nation Youth Foundation.
Now through Monday, April 1, teams will collect donations for a chance to win the ultimate grand prize: an exclusive party + entry into a pickleball game against Super Bowl champions Gronk and Patrick Chung. Maybe the champs will even throw in a Gronk Spike.
How to win
The competition has begun, but it’s not too late to join. Register to fundraise as a team of two or individually and get started today. Pro tip: See where you stand in real time with the online leaderboard.
Prizes are awarded based on how much money teams raise between Thursday, Feb.1 and Monday, April 1. Here’s what you could be entered to win:
- Signed Gronk merch (donate $25+ or raise $100+)
- Tickets to the Pickleball Party (raise $500+)
- A guaranteed match-up against Gronk and Patrick (raise more money than any other team)

The Pickleball Party
On Tuesday, April 9, former Patriots player Rob Ninkovich and his podcast partner Dan O’Brien are hosting an epic Pickleball Party at PKL in South Boston. Think: food, drinks, pickleball, and hanging out with Gronk and Patrick.
Each of the top fundraising teams will be entered to win tickets to attend the private party, where the overall winner (read: top fundraiser) will face off against Gronk and Patrick on the pickleball court.
Want to guarantee your spot in the festivities? Secure your Club ticket to the Pickleball Party with an $870 donation.
