Here’s your reminder to schedule that next group hang (or family outing, or date night). Live Music on the Lawn kicks off Friday, Aug. 11 from 6-9 p.m. at the Christian Science Plaza in the heart of Back Bay (210 Massachusetts Ave.), with the second installment of the free concert series happening Friday, Sept. 8.

Jam to a variety of music styles like Afro-Caribbean, traditional Celtic, Venezuelan fusion, and covers of top hits — then grab a bite to eat at a local food truck.

Here’s the lineup:

Aug. 11

The Jordan TW Trio opens for headliner Jonathan Suazo - RICANO, so you can spend the evening dancing to Afro-Caribbean and energetic Celtic music.

Papi’s Stuffed Sopapillas is serving up hand-rolled, puffed, cut, and stuffed-to-order Santa Fe Style Sopapillas.

Sept. 8

The show opens with Eduardo Betancourt and features Britt Connors Band as the headliner. Listen to the perfect mix of Venezuelan fusion songs and covers of top hits.

Order dinner from The Chubby Chickpea for a fusion of traditional Middle Eastern favorites and authentic recipes featuring fresh local ingredients and contemporary styles.
