Gas prices getting you down? The Bay State is reporting record high gas prices of $4.60 per gallon. Compared to last year’s price of $2.91, that’s a 58.08% increase.

🚲 Break out the bikes

🚍The wheels on the bus will get you around town
Getting around Boston is made easy with a plethora of bus routes. A local service, one-way fare is $1.70 with a CharlieCard, CharlieTicket, or cash.

You won’t ride alone on the T with ~122,000 daily passenger trips on an average weekday. Travel on one of the five main subway lines around our city for $2.40 per ride with CharlieCard, CharlieTicket, or cash. Pro tip: See if you qualify for discount fares to make the T even more affordable.
🚗 Get creative with your commute
Split the bill by starting a carpool with your coworkers + get the perks of riding in the HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) lanes along I-93 North and on the Southeast Expressway. Pro tip: Check out this Facebook rideshare group.
