Who run the world? Celebrate International Women’s Day tomorrow, March 8 with TrailblazHERS Run Co. This all-female run crew is hosting a community run to support Rosie’s Place, the first women’s shelter in the US.
The three-mile run + one-mile walk are both free to join in, with donations like personal items and gift cards required at entry for the women’s shelter.
Meet the team at Ned Devine’s (1 North Market St.) at 6:30 p.m. and swag from Puma + REI will be passed out while supplies last.
The program will kick off at 7 p.m. and the ladies will hit the road by 7:20 p.m. Everyone is invited to meet back at Ned Devine’s for a post-run celebration, featuring live music from DJ Slick Vick and light bites from the restaurant.
