Where to dine-in and carry-out Thanksgiving dinner in Boston

The holiday season is upon us, and Boston restaurants are here to help plan your suppah — whether you’re opting to dine out or gather around the table at home.

Feast your eyes on these local options for the best of sides: mashed potatoes, yams, and pumpkin pie. What could be butter?

Where to dine-in:

Bistro du Midi, 272 Boylston St. | Open from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Feast on a prix-fixe three-course meal with optional a la carte add-ons like oysters and truffles + sides like brussels and pommes frites.

Harvest, 44 Brattle St., Cambridge | Open from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
This farm to table style eatery will order dishes like venison round, beef tenderloin or traditional turkey.

The Merchant, 60 Franklin St. | Open 12 to 8 p.m.
A three-course prix-fixe menu will be served and feature dishes like roasted buttercup squash soup and roasted turkey with all the fixings.

Nubar, 16 Garden St., Cambridge | Open from 12 to 6 p.m.
Fix your own plate with this holiday buffet complete with carving stations, salad stations, and dessert bar. Or, skip the line and order take out, which includes turkey or ham, potatoes, and a dessert.

Scampo, 215 Charles St. | Open from 12 to 7 p.m.
Take a bite out of this four-course dinner featuring American classics with an Italian twist. Prix-fixe $115, or $55 for children under 12.

Where to carry-out:

Alcove, 50 Lovejoy Wharf | Orders must be placed by Monday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m.

Pick up a turkey dinner with a roasted turkey, house rolls with honey butter + the cranberry and orange relish. Add in the bourbon-based “harvest punch” for four or a pint of ice cream.

Bar Mezzana, 360 Harrison Ave. | Orders must be placed by Sunday, Nov. 20.

Order your feast for two, four, or six guests for $65 a person. Each order will include roasted turkey + confit turkey leg, gravy, cranberry sauce, and bread to make a leftover sandwich.

Capo Restaurant and Supper Club, 443 W. Broadway, South Boston | Orders must be placed by Monday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m.

Eat dessert first this year and try one or more pies, which you can order traditional for $30 or gluten free for $35. All orders can be picked up Tuesday-Thursday. Pro tip: Don’t miss the gelato to go with your pie.

Lincoln Tavern and Restaurant, 425 W. Broadway | Orders are available for pickup on Thursday, Nov. 24 from 12 to 3 p.m.

Plan for leftovers when ordering half or full portions of the dinner package, which include wood-fire roasted turkey, jalapeño cornbread, and the bourbon cranberry sauce.

Rochambeau, 900 Boylston St. | Order for pickup on Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This French restaurant is offering green salad with cranberries and goat cheese; brined and roasted turkey; and potato gratin.

State Street Provisions, 255 State St. | Orders must be placed by Thursday, Nov. 17.

The Family style take out feeds four to five people and include a whole roasted turkey, with sides like green bean casserole, brioche stuffing with apples and rosemary + a pumpkin pie.

Stillwater, 120 Kingston St. | Order for pickup on Wednesday, Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Take the sides off your to-do list and try one of these options, which can be ordered in sizes for two tofour people or six to eight people. Take a bite out of wild mushroom and thyme stuffing, roasted sweet potatoes with aged parmesan and balsamic, or maple and sea salt brussels sprouts. Pro tip: Don’t miss the apple crumble pie or the pumpkin cheesecake swirl pie.

Sweet Cheeks Q, 1381 Boylston St. | Orders must be placed by Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 3 p.m.

Feast on a whole smoked turkey, a half brisket, smoked pork shoulder + get saucy with the house cranberry sauce, herb butter, and turkey gravy. Don’t forget the sides like biscuit stuffing, broccoli cheese casserole, and roasted brussels with hazelnuts.
