Broadway is coming to Portsmouth, NH with “Million Dollar Quartet”

Ogunquit Playhouse and The Music Hall are teaming up again to bring Broadway to Portsmouth, NH with their upcoming production of “Million Dollar Quartet,” based on the night when Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins formed a red-hot rock ‘n’ roll band. This production features the return of actors Nat Zegree, Scott Moreau, and Kurt Jenkins in three iconic roles.

Nat Zegree (Jerry Lee Lewis) has played over 400 performances of “Million Dollar Quartet” at theaters such as Papermill and Ogunquit Playhouse, for which he received a BroadwayWorld award for best performance. Scott Moreau (Johnny Cash) was a cast member for the musical’s national tour, and Kurt Jenkins (Carl Perkins) has been involved with “Million Dollar Quartet” since 2013: first in the original Chicago production, then on the high seas with Norwegian Cruise Line.

Note: The Music Hall’s production is not a tour — it isn’t going to be anywhere else. Catch it during previews (and score the best price) Wednesday, March 22- Friday, March 24. The show will run every Wednesday-Sunday through April 9.*
