Get ready to groove, Boston. Summer isn’t quite over yet — and a night of live music under the stars is the perfect way to enjoy the season. Celebrate the final stretch of summer with a free concert and its must-see highlights:

🎶 Live Music on the Lawn

Head to the Christian Science Plaza for Live Music on the Lawn, an outdoor concert happening on Friday, Sept. 6 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Groove to multi-genre tunes, grab a bite from local food truck Indulge India, and savor sweet treats from Nothing Bundt Cakes.

This year’s lineup features:

Filled with vibrant colors and light, the stained glass Mapparium® globe stands unchanged since its completion in 1935.

A Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Award winner, the How Do You See the World?™ experience is a portrait of faces, stories, and experiences that explore progress + possibilities around the world, inviting you to consider your place in it.

The three-story Mapparium® globe — one of three main exhibits — serves as a time capsule of the world before WWII, offering a unique view of countries in a bygone era.

Tour The Mother Church

Starting at 5 p.m., take a free, 40-minute tour of The Mother Church. Psst... You’ll get to see one of the world’s largest pipe organs up close. The tour begins in the Welcome Hall of the How Do You See the World?™ experience.

“I love how these concerts bring together our local Boston community and welcome everyone to the Christian Science Plaza,” Gaby Mejía, exhibit manager of the How Do You See the World?™ experience, said. “It’s the perfect end-of-summer night out with friends or family, and a great way to kick off the start of a new school year.”
