Have you ever wanted to create a signature scent that was made just for you? Now you can, at the new Olfactory NYC location on Newbury Street in Back Bay. We got to go check it out, and here’s what you can expect.

As soon as you step into the store, you’re welcomed by a team of experts there to help take the guesswork out of finding exactly what you like, and sometimes what you don’t.

Start by selecting your preferred base sent out of the nine core, gender-neutral fragrances. Then take a seat, where the scentologists will help you customize the perfume by layering a variety of different fragrances to the base you selected. Once you have the top four choices narrowed down, you will do a skin test.

After you choose your perfect blend, the custom scent ($85 each) is bottled for you to take home and show off.

Book an appointment to make your own signature scent.
