The Music Hall in Portsmouth with be alive with the sound of music with the Ogunquit Playhouse at The Music Hall’s holiday production of “The Sound of Music,” running from Nov. 29-Dec. 17.

Featuring beloved songs like “My Favorite Things,” “Edelweiss,” “Do-Re-Mi,” and more, this family-friendly classic tells the heartwarming tale of Maria, a governess for the von Trapp family in Austria, during World War II. Newcomers and die-hard musical theatre fans alike can enjoy this story of love, family, and the resilience of the human spirit — and the power of music.

Bonus: Enjoy a local theatre experience at The Music Hall’s production of “The Sound of Music” — this isn’t a touring show. It’s a homegrown version with unique costumes, lighting, and set design created specifically for this production.
