Grab your hats and get ready for the “most exciting two minutes in sports.” Saturday, May 6 is the running of the Kentucky Derby. While we unfortunately won’t be visiting our friends at LOUtoday, we can celebrate locally with these Derby Day events around Boston.

High Street Place
The second annual Kentucky Derby Party will kick off at 4 p.m. and feature classic cocktails, special menu offerings, and a 50/50 raffle to support The Greater Boston Food Bank.

Head to Southie at 6:45 p.m. for live music from Legends of Summer, a costume contest, and drink specials.

OAK Long Bar + Kitchen
Make your reservations early — Maker’s Mark will be on-site to hand dip rocks glasses with red wax. Derby Day attire is encouraged for the chance to win two Red Sox tickets.
