And the bracket winner is… George Howell Coffee, voted best coffee shop in Boston by our readers and social media followers in our BOStoday coffee shop bracket.
The local biz is named for George Howell, a pioneer in bringing the specialty coffee industry to the US and Boston. The brand was established in 2004 when it opened its roastery in Acton, and has since made a splash on the local coffee scene. You can find shops at The Godfrey in Downtown Crossing, inside Boston Public Market, and in Newtonville.
We want to extend a major “thank you” to all of you for participating in our bracket challenge the past few weeks. We’ve had a blast seeing how the votes shook out, and we hope you did too.
