So you’ve heard all about the Van Gogh exhibitions in Boston — but did you know that two new immersive experiences are on their way? From a large-scale art exhibition to a magical cocktail event, you’ll want to mark your calendars for these special events.

Immersive Frida Kahlo, Lighthouse ArtSpace Boston at The Castle, 130 Columbus Ave.

🗓️ Feb. 10-May 8

The team behind Immersive Van Gogh is bringing another art experience to Boston — this time, focused on the work and life of Mexican art icon Frida Kahlo.

The gallery will host 360-degree projections accompanied by a musical score to absorb audiences into Frida’s world. View her iconic works of magical realism + learn more about the obstacles that shaped the artist’s life.

The scale of this exhibition is impressive — this is Immersive Frida Kahlo by the numbers:

  • 500,000 cubic feet of art
  • 90,000,000 pixels
  • 1,200,000 frames of video

Tickets for the event are timed, allowing access to the space on a specific hour of the date you choose. Purchase your tickets for $39+ here.

The Alice, The Merchant, 60 Franklin St.

🗓️ March 4-Dec. 31

The Merchant is set to transform into the curious world of Alice in Wonderland beginning this March. The topsy turvy experience pays homage to the classic Lewis Carroll story. The 90-minute tea party is jam packed with activities to transport you to Alice’s world:

  • Create two unique cocktails
  • Solve curiouser and curiouser riddles
  • Sample an “Eat Me” cookie

While the experience is meant for those 21 and older, children can attend the alcohol-free family friendly sessions.

You’d be madder than the Mad Hatter to miss out on this whimsical pop-up, so be sure to grab your tickets soon. Tickets are $43 each, plus fees.
