New Year’s resolutions are… how do we put this…

Let’s just say they can be a challenge. But whether you love them (Shop from more local businesses) or hate them (Cut back on Dunkin Donuts trips), resolutions are a great way to refocus your goals for the new year. As for us…

City Editor Sara here, and one of my top resolutions is to visit new restaurants. It’s easy to return to my tried and true favorites and college haunts, but there are so many more eateries in Boston that I want to try. My top priorities are Monument Tavern in Charlestown, Contessa in Back Bay + Cicada Coffee Bar in Cambridge.

I’d also like to plan some weekend trips from Boston in 2022. I’ve visited Portland, Maine and Burlington, Vermont recently, so I think my next stop will be somewhere in New Hampshire or the Berkshires.

City Editor Jess here, and my goal is to find the best tacos in Boston, so far on my list is Mex Taqueria in Cambridge, El Jefe’s Taqueria, and Yellow Door Taqueria. I also want to see more live music around the city, so I’ll be adding tickets to a show at the House of Blues or the Boch Center to my checklist.

My other goal in 2022 is to hike more so you might see me exploring some New England trails. I have the Blue Hill Reservation on the top of my list.

Of course, our resolution at BOStoday is to continue educating + activating our community by providing you with the most relevant local content in the city. That’s where you come in. Let us know what you want to hear in the new year – we look forward to supporting your 2022 goals.
