Where to play pickleball around Boston

Pickleball has become a pretty big dill in our city. To celebrate National Pickleball Day, we’ve rounded up a few places to take a swing at the trending sport.
If you’re a seasoned pro or just want to take a swing at the game, don’t get in a pickle. Save this list of five locations to score big.
PKL, 64 C. St.
This Southie indoor venue features five courts, a lounge area, one restaurant + two bars inside the 22,000-sqft space.
Pricing: Starting at $25 for non-peak hours, $50 in the evenings + $75 weekends
Harpoon Brewery, 306 Northern Ave.
Visit Harpoon to take a swing on one of Hub Sports’ four new pickleball courts inside the Pickleball Social Club. The outdoor space can hold up to 400 people and features seating, yard games, and restrooms.
Pricing: Ranging from $50 to $100
The new Pickleball Social Club is located right outside of the Seaport beer hall.

The Track hosts open pickleball play Monday-Friday from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Register to secure one of the eight courts.

The Park at Assembly Row, 350 Assembly Row, Somerville
This 75,000-sqft multi-sport and event space features 12 new pickleball courts. Regular league runs are organized by Volo.
Pricing: The Volo Pass starts at $35 for unlimited access to the courts.

Gov. Maura Healey is preparing to make a declaration to relieve the pressure on the state’s shelter system, due to an influx of migrants on top of the local housing needs.
