Development
  • The BPDA approved 11 new development projects totaling ~1.1 million sqft in Allston, Brighton, East Boston, Fenway, Hyde Park, and Roxbury. The housing projects will create 876 residential units + 184 units will be designated income-restricted.
Biz
  • Boston food suppliers and other local businesses have called for the city to open a recovery campus in Widett Circle, about a mile from South Station. The proposed campus would serve the people struggling with homelessness and addiction at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard. (Boston Globe)

  • The owners of Union Square restaurant Field & Vine have announced plans for a second eatery called Junebug. The new business will open in the former T&B Pizza space in October. Expect a mouthwatering menu of pizza, seafood, and veggie dishes. (Boston Magazine)
