❤️ Happy Marathon Monday, Boston.

Before we hit the streets to cheer on participants, we wanted to show our love for the ~30,000 people taking part in the race this year. We asked our readers to send in their messages of good luck, well-wishes, and congratulations for friends and family getting involved — here’s what they said.

“Go St. John’s Prep Senior, Matt Boucher! He’s running for the Fund for St. John’s.” — Matt S.

“Let’s GO Kristin! Team Strides for Ewing, raising money for Ewing Sarcoma research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.” — Tom B.

“My name is Jessica Catturini... [I volunteer] as a finish line medal distributer. I love my city, I love volunteering, and I love the Boston Marathon. It is an honor to place medals on these amazing athletes, who truly earned these medals. Go Medals Team....I hope to see all the runners....cannot wait to cheer you on and greet you with a smile!” — Jessica C.

“I will be running my 10th consecutive Boston this year, all which have been as a charity runner for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital!” — Daniel M.

“Mallory Wright running for The Second Step!” — Amelia L.

“Marlene Fronske: it’s meeee! Running for Dana Farber Marathon Challenge” — Marlene F. (We love a little self-cheerleading)

“Meaghan Packer running for Children’s Hospital” — Lauren C.

“Meghan Morris-Weberling (running for the Esplanade Association)” — Ryan W.

“John Bartlett running in support of cancer care and research at Beth Israel Lahey Health.” — Paul C.

“Alyssa More running for women’s lunch place.” — Pouran G.

“Go USNA Marathon Team - we are so proud of you💪🏻💙💛" — Conrad D. + Jean D.

“Scott Durdin - Museum of Science” — Beverly J.

Good luck and congratulations to Jason Santana, Ben Hayes, Kevin Frechette, and Brian B., who were also shouted out by their friends and family.
