We take great pride in offering our weekly newsletter to you, our valued subscribers, for free — and we’re committed to keeping it that way. But we need your help. That’s why we’ve created a campaign to raise $1,000 over the next 10 days.
When you choose to support BOStoday, you’re investing in more than just a weekly newsletter — you’re investing in a stronger, more informed community. Your contributions go directly toward creating more of the local stories you love, expanding our coverage, and ensuring we can remain a free resource for all.
If you’ve gotten something out of being subscribed to our newsletter, like finding that life-changing concert in our Events section, or planning a memorable family day with our City Guides — we’re calling on you now to help support our mission.

We impact readers’ lives. We receive hundreds of thank you emails every week. If you’ve gotten something out of being subscribed to BOStoday, we couldn’t be more honored to be part of your life.
We take a positive, unbiased approach to local reporting. While we’ll always let you know about decided-upon policies impacting our city, we skip the political discourse that can feel unending and draining. We believe reading about what’s going on in your city should be a positive experience.

Assembly Row is poppin’ — lots of new openings are coming to the neighborhood. For starters, cult favorite Pop-Up Bagels will debut its second Boston-area location there this summer, and we’re already imagining how many bagels we’ll be dipping.
World Market (one of my favorite stores of all time) will open an 18,361-sqft store adjacent to Ashley Furniture, and Good Time Golf will debut a golf simulator + lounge. Oh, and we hear a Pan-Asian restaurant called Cocolee will open this spring or summer, replacing the now-shuttered River Bar.
