News Notes

The City of Boston has issued final approval to relocate — slightly — the landmark Citgo sign in Fenway. To maintain sight lines alongside the redevelopment of 660 Beacon St., the 60-by-60-foot sign will move 120 feet to the East and be raised 30 feet higher. (WCVB)

Development

Construction has begun at 127 Amory St. in Jamaica Plain. Part of the Jackson Square redevelopment project, this six-story building will feature 96 affordable housing units, ranging from 1-3 bedrooms.

Concert

Give yourself a moment of wonder at the Boston Symphony Orchestra this fall. Pianist Yuja Wang brings her fiery passion to Prokofiev’s sardonic, melodious Piano Concerto No. 2, from Thursday, Oct. 23, through Saturday, Oct. 25. Then, dazzling violinist Midori performs Dvořák’s bold, energetic Violin Concerto, Nov. 6-8. Grab tickets.*
