Picture this: a “Fenway Frank,” but make it vegan.

This spring, PlantPub is opening a second location at 61 Brookline Ave., in the former Boston Beerworks, which closed last summer after over 30 years.

The owners of PlantPub teamed up with celebrity chef Matthew Kenney to bring plant-based food to Fenway.

The Fenway location will seat almost 300, and feature a large kitchen to accommodate a menu that appeals to not only vegans, but the average Sox fan too.

The new location will be serving up plant-based dishes, including “buffalo wings” fried cauliflower with Buffalo sauce + “chili queso fries” regular or sweet potato fries with housemade cashew paprika queso and chili.

There will also be franks, burgers + pub fries in addition to the restaurant will serve New England-based beers and cocktails, a variety of desserts, and their most popular items from the Cambridge location. Making it a perfect pregame destination before a baseball game.

You can find out more about the menu, team, and updates on the new location on their website.

If you can’t wait to try plant-based dishes, like PlantPub, add one of these vegan, vegetarian, and plant-based restaurants in Boston.
