We’re pen pals, friends, buddies — whatever you want to call us (consider this our formal invitation asking you to be ours), and we feel like we’ve really gotten to know one another as we approach one year of BOStoday.

So, we’re testing your knowledge. We’ve put together a Boston-specific game challenging you to get to know us a little more. The answer key is below (but no peeking).

🍂 It’s a crisp fall day in Boston. You’ll find BOStoday editor (1) browsing a local bookstore, like Raven Used Books in Harvard Square or More than Words in the South End. BOStoday editor (2) will be enjoying one of the fall beer releases + exploring seasonal produce at her neighborhood farmers market.

🏠 It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood. BOStoday editor (3) is spending the day at the Charles River Speedway near her Brighton home, while BOStoday editor (4) is shopping at Assembly Row near her Somerville apartment.

🍽️ Time for some foodie fun. BOStoday editor (5) is all about brunch at her favorites like Buttermilk and Bourbon + Lincoln Tavern, and BOStoday editor (6) is hitting her old Boston University haunts like @Union in Allston.

❄️ Let’s look ahead to winter activities. BOStoday editor (7) is most excited to experience creative outdoor seating at local restaurants, and BOStoday editor (8) can’t wait shop the expanded Snowport Holiday Market + ice skate at Frog Pond.

Finally, here are our favorite things about Boston:

“I’ve lived in and around Boston for my whole life, and am still discovering new restaurants, shops + experiences every day.” — BOStoday editor (9)

“There are so many events happening all the time + I’m looking forward to more concerts, Bruins games, and trivia nights in the next year.” — BOStoday editor (10)
