There’s a new major player for the Red Sox who will really switch up the game in Boston. Cue the walk-up music for MassMutual — the new signature sponsor for the MLB team.
The Sox and MassMutual are going for extra innings with the announcement of the 10-year partnership.
What does this play include? The insurance company will have its logo placed over the center field scoreboard, special signage behind home plate + additional messaging throughout Fenway Park.
For the first time in the franchise’s history, the Red Sox jersey will feature a sponsorship patch on the the sleeve.
The partnership will also expand the Fenway Park Learning Lab in April 2023 to reach all sixth-grade students in Boston Public Schools. The program brings students to the historic ballpark for an immersive classroom experience.
