City Editor Jess here, and I know I’m not alone in feeling the winter blues this time of year. With one step off the elevator at the Omni Boston Seaport, I was transported to a tropical beach. The brightly colored cocktails lifted my mood, and the festive tiles found throughout the space added color to the grey skies.

Start with an order of the crispy Brussels sprouts ($15) and a “Lob-stah” Louie wedge salad ($38) and you’ll set the flavor expectation for the table high. After that enjoy a bite of the spicy tuna poke bowl ($28), short rib Birra tacos ($16), double double burger ($18), or a salted caramel lobster roll ($38). Every dish delivered a party of flavors, textures, and variety to truly offer something for everyone. And you won’t want to skip dessert with options like the lemon olive oil cake ($12).

Bonus: Enjoy weekly music featuring live performances and DJs, and other and other seasonal events happening throughout the year.

Did you know that the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is built around Boston’s rich ties to music, the performing arts, and science? The hotel infuses these elements into the design and you can see it throughout the main lobby with gallery walls, unique art displays, and at their two lobby bars: Crescendo Lobby Bar and power-lunch spot Kestra (short for “orchestra”).
