Mayor Wu and the Office of Arts & Culture have awarded $7.35 million to 11 arts and cultural organizations from the city’s new Cultural Investment Grant program. This is the the largest municipal investment into Boston’s cultural community thus far, and it will help support these organizations efforts to establish a more creative and equitable city.

Here are three of this year’s recipients:

  • Dorchester Art Project and Boston Little Saigon Cultural District — A collaboration between two organizations working to develop a mixed-use community hub that is dedicated to promoting the arts, cultures, and identities in the community.
  • BAMS Fest — The team behind the cultural movement led by creative entrepreneurs, who are well-known for the annual art and music soul festival.
  • Veronica Robles Cultural Center — This community-based organization in East Boston aims to promote Latino arts and culture for stronger communities and economic growth.
