The Town of Provincetown Fire Department is auctioning off a firetruck to raise funds for new equipment.

Have you ever wanted to own your own firetruck? Itโ€™s time to place your bids on this hot ride.

The Town of Provincetown Fire Department is auctioning off a 2001 Freightliner firetruck. The online auction is open to Massachusetts residents and ends Monday, Oct. 16.

The firetruck is road ready and has 11,925 miles on it. It features a custom made engine + 500-gallon water tank. The starting bid is listed at $15,000.

Proceeds from the auction will go back to the local Fire Department to buy new water hoses, helmets, and other essentials.
