It’s no secret I love learning about local history, so getting to deep dive on the history of the lobster roll in New England was a delicious experience. Plus, getting to meet some of you and asking your favorite way to enjoy a lobster roll was the perfect side dish.

Sometimes it’s the little things, like getting to work with your dog — I got to sniff out New England’s first dog-bar with my pup Reyna and that was a doggone good time to share with all of you.

Getting people hip to the city’s thriving hip-hop scene is one of my passions, so of course I had to break out some of Boston’s best bars in honor of the genre’s 50th anniversary. Allow BIA, Cousin Stizz, Coi Leray, and STL GLD to energize your playlist.

Combine a lifetime of living in Greater Boston with a love of dogs and a little creative license, and you get Part 1 of my breakdown of Boston neighborhoods as dog breeds . Where are my fellow BU terriers?
