As much as we love a gingerbread baking sesh, often the season’s greatest joys come from someone else’s kitchen. Whether you want to take it easy or you’re treating a loved one to a luscious dinner, make sure to snag a reservation at these Boston restaurants serving holiday cheer on Christmas Day.

Ramsay’s Kitchen, 774 Boylston St. | 11 a.m.-8 p.m. | Reservations: Yes
A $65 ticket fills your plate with all the fixings of a homemade roast: prime rib, roasted veggies, and Yorkshire pudding, served with horseradish + beef jus.

Abe & Louie’s, 793 Boylston St. | 4-9 p.m. | Reservations: Yes
This standout steakhouse stacks specials high for the holidays. Good luck trying to choose between smoked trout pate with pickled shallots + cornichons ($19), baked pear and brie tarts ($18), and George’s Bank sea scallops, served with Anson Mills golden polenta, braised escarole, and lemon-brown butter ($48).
