There’s no shortage of live music around Boston, and we’ve teamed up with one local venue to give away two tickets to an upcoming show. Before we get to the tickets, here are a few ideas for things to do before you head to a concert at Roadrunner.

Join thousands of other concert-goers (the venue has a capacity of 3,500) at Roadrunner located at 89 Guest St. There is plenty to check out no matter which direction you are coming from.

Keep it really close

Across the street you can grab a drink and bite at Rail Stop Restaurant, which is designed to resemble an old train stop. Pro tip: try the firecracker shrimp and you won’t be disappointed.

Brato Brewhouse + Kitchen is right around the corner from the venue and offers a variety of locally made brews + eats like grilled cheese sandwiches.

Broken Records Beer Hall is in the same building as Roadrunner, making it the perfect last-minute spot to grab a drink or a bite to eat before showtime.

Arriving from Allston

Allston has so many food + drink options. Grab a bite at Lone Star Taco Bar, a slice at La Befana Pizza, try the vegan options at Grasshopper Restaurant, and satisfy your sweet tooth with a scoop or two from FoMu.

Booking it from Brighton

The Charles River Speedway is a one-stop pre-concert shop. Grab a beer from Notch Brewery, an empanada from Super Bien, create your own hummus bowl or pita, sip on sake from Koji Club, and don’t skip dessert with 100% nut-free ice cream at Tipping Cow.

Now that you’ve got the pre-show plan, here’s how to enter our giveaway for two tickets to an upcoming show.

Head to Instagram and make sure you are following both the Roadrunner + BOStoday accounts, comment on our post with three upcoming shows you’d like to see, and tag the friend you’ll bring along if you win. We will contact the winner on Fri., Sept. 16. Good luck, Boston.
