City Editor Jess here — We’ve got the scoop on three hyper-local tours thanks to the Improv Asylum team. Buckle up, it’s a wild ride.

Beginning in April, the folks behind Improv Asylum officially launched Asylum Tours, so hop aboard an old school trolley for The Massholes Comedy Tour, the Bliss Bus Cannabis Tour, and The Dragtacular Trolley. Each tour provides miles of entertainment, and trust us, you’ve never had so much fun sitting in Boston traffic. The tours are BYOB and each can accommodate large groups or be rented privately to keep all the laughs to yourself.

What we tried:

Donnie and Mickey from the Massholes Comedy Tour hosted a hilarious and surprisingly historical tour. Our city is teeming with rich history and these improv comedians are ready to show you and your friend the best of Boston, in a uniquely Boston way with wicked fun facts and a touch of sass.

Board the trolley just steps outside the Asylum location in Fanueil Hall Marketplace and go on a journey with the team of locals, from popular tourist spots on the Freedom Trail to Beacon Hill, and the North End to the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

Bonus: There is trivia with sweet treats up for grabs for your road snack. Brush up on your local knowledge — some of the questions even stumped me.

Less than two weeks after being defeated in the inaugural Walter Cup, PWHL Boston is preparing to come back swinging.

Welcome to Boston

Boston picked up six players in the seven-round 2024-2025 draft on Monday, June 10. Let’s take a look at the lineup:
  • Hannah Bilka, Forward | Boston used its first-round selection to scoop Bilka — a star Boston College player for four seasons before she nabbed a national title with Ohio State.
  • Daniela Pejšová, Defender | Boston made a trade to move up three spots in order to score this defender from the Swedish Women’s Hockey League.
  • Sydney Bard, Defender | Defense was the name of the game for Boston. Bard joins the team with five seasons at Colgate under her belt.
  • Shay Maloney, Forward | Another player from the Swedish Women’s Hockey League, Maloney played four seasons at Brown.
  • Ilona Markova, Forward | The first Russian player drafted by a PWHL team, Markova was drafted by Boston using a draft-night trade with New York.
  • Hadley Hartmetz, Defender | A former teammate of Bilka, Hartmetz played two seasons at BC + three at Ohio State.

From the editor
TD Garden will host its first NBA finals watch party tonight. Did you get your $18 ticket? If not, I’ve been looking at resale tickets and some of them are going for over $260 — none of which are on Ticketmaster.

Pro tip: Canal Street just outside of the Garden will be closed to cars for Games 3 and 4.
