Break out your lucky green jerseyit’s game day, Boston. Today, the Celtics will play their first regular season game at TD Garden against the 76ers. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. and here’s what to expect this season.

The Celtics ended last season in Game Six of the NBA finals against the Golden State Warriors. Will this be the season they bring home banner No. 18?

The team will be led by interim head coach Joe Mazzulla. Who’s new on the court? Malcolm Brogdon + Blake Griffin.

This season, the NBA and NBA Players Association will retire Bill Russell’s No. 6 jersey across the league. Additionally, all NBA players will wear a commemorative patch on their jerseys and every NBA court will include a clover-shaped logo with Russell’s No. 6.

The Celtics will also remember Bill Russell with two tribute events — the first tonight and the next on the legend’s birthday (Feb. 12).

Let us know if we will see you at the Garden this season.
