No need to travel all the way to Arendelle for a frozen adventure. Bostonians can make the journey north (approximately two hours) to explore one of five Ice Castles in the US.
The New Hampshire Ice Castle is the only one of its kind in New England. It’s made of thousands of hand-placed icicles and creates a picturesque winter wonderland to explore. During the day, details of the frozen crystals and carvings are on full display + at night, the castle and sculptures are lit with colorful LED lights.

Located at 24 Clark Farm Rd. in Woodstock, NH, the attraction offers plenty to do + see. While you are there, don’t miss the Mystic Forest or the ice slides and snow tubing hill — or pretend like it’s coronation day and take a seat on the ice throne.
Tickets recently went on sale and prices start at $20 for adults on weekdays and $27 for adults on weekends. Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, timed tickets are required, in addition to masks. The tunnels will have one-way traffic directions and there will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the high traffic areas.
If you’re wanting snow much more fun, you can also add a sleigh ride or time in the VIP Alcove. All of the features of the attraction are entirely outdoors, so plan to dress accordingly.
