Does “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” still apply if it’s a different ball + game?

The Wasabi Fenway Bowl is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 17 at 11 a.m. at Fenway Park. The University of Cincinnati will face off against the University of Louisville.

The stadium’s inaugural football game will transform the iconic baseball diamond into a gridiron. The 2021 game was canceled due to COVID-19 complications, so this is still the first Division 1 bowl game to be hosted at the historic ballpark.

There are still tickets available for fans of both teams, as well as fans of Fenway. Prices start at $30.
