Have you heard of Boston in 100 Words ? It’s a writing contest that invites all Bostonians to share a story about life in Boston in 100 words or less.

Stories about everyday life in Boston-area communities will be reviewed by a team of local writers, and the winning submissions will be displayed on large illustrated posters throughout the city. You can submit up to five stories, and there’s a cash prize for the top three winners.

Ready to take on the challenge? The deadline has been extended to Monday, Jan. 23. Tell your story here .
