Did you know that Sat., Oct. 1 is World Sake Day ? Better yet, did you know that there’s a way to sip + celebrate locally?

Sake expert Marina Giordano and Boston’s first ever sake bar, The Koji Club , will host a Sake Day East event on Fri., Sept. 30 at the Charles River Speedway (525 Western Ave.).

The educational experience + tasting explores various styles of the Japanese drink from brewers like Medfield-based Farthest Star Sake , Massachusetts’ only sake brewery.

Plus, there will be plenty of food and craft vendors to shop, including:
