With ~10,000 Ukrainians living in Greater Boston, our city is coming up with ways to support Ukraine during the ongoing Russian invasion of the country, now in its 20th day.
If you’re looking for a way to personally support those impacted, here are some suggestions.

- Action for Post-Soviet Jewry | The Waltham-based non-profit is raising money to provide life-saving humanitarian aid to Ukrainians.
- #ArtistsforUkraine | Local Ukrainian artistic director Igor Golyak started this project to raise awareness and funds for Nova Ukraine in collaboration with Needham’s Arlekin Players Theatre. Visit the fundraiser’s Facebook page for more information on how to donate + participate.
- Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston | This organization is raising money for the Ukraine Emergency Fund to provide food, shelter, medicine, and other basic needs to those impacted by the invasion.
- Sunflower of Peace | This Belmont non-profit provides first-aid backpacks, medicine + medical instruments to paramedics and doctors on the front lines.
Plus, we want to thank the members of our community who are working tirelessly to provide direct support to Ukraine — from the Massachusetts medics providing care in Poland to the Harvard University freshmen who created a website that helps Ukrainian refugees find shelter.
