Tulip season is winding down early this year, so make plans now to visit a local farm and pick-your-own flowers. Not sure where to look? We found three farms within driving distance of downtown Boston to visit to pick tulips this week.

Tip Top Tulips , 20 Lowes Ln., Ipswich | ~30 miles

  • Open daily at 9 a.m., grab tickets to pick flowers + feed the alpacas on the farm. Pro tip: this location also offers goat yoga on Sunday mornings.

Ward’s Berry Farm , 614 South Main St., Sharon | ~28 miles

  • Tickets are available at the “Pick-Your-Own tent” daily for access to the fields, which include a hayride.

Cider Hill Farm , 45 Fern Ave., Amesbury | ~45 miles

  • There will be limited opportunities to visit the patch for Mother’s Day weekend, so set a reminder that tickets will be available on Thursday, May 11 at 6:30 p.m.

If you miss picking tulips this year, there will be other seasonal blooms available + berries ready for pickin’ soon.
